Centrally located on Long Island in Holtsville, Total Mechanical Systems has been serving Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx since 1981.

Originally known as Mechanical System Services, the company earned its stripes in the HVAC/R industry through hard work, dedication, and a strong belief in providing honest and affordable service. One of those that valued and propelled these ethics and philosophies was Alan Pushnick. He began as a technician, building a solid reputation as a capable, trustworthy, hardworking, and personable asset to the company and HVAC/R field.

When the previous owner decided to sell the company, there was no other logical choice for Al but to buy it. Having dedicated decades to the business and clientele, it was any easy decision. In 2010 the company became known as Total Mechanical Systems. Under the ownership of Mr. Pushnick, the company has been moving forward and upward.

Since 2010, the fleet has steadily grown, computerized dispatching and GPS have been implemented, as well as continuous expansion of the service area, training of the staff, and equipment serviced, all while keeping and cultivating the same core values of customer satisfaction and hard work.
